One Accord is very busy in serving the people of our church assembly as well as serving the poor, helpless, or hungry in our area. We have a variety of both inward and outward directed ministries in which we help and serve others. We are heavily involved in the activities and project of our city and are known as the church that is always there to help.

We meet every Tuesday morning @ 6:30 am at the steak and shake in Hixson

Men ‘s Meeting

We have monthly men’s meetings in which the men of One Accord come together and address issues such as church building maintenance, technical issues, and administrative needs. Work days are scheduled to handle and take care of these issues.

Women’s Missionary Union

We also have a mission-oriented ministry called Women’s Missonary Union (WMU). The WMU usually meets monthly during the same time as the Men’s Meeting.

Women’s Ministry

Also for the needs of the church family, we offer a Women’s Ministry. This ministry focuses on internal family ministry and service. The ministry is committed to producing role-models to those around and becoming focused on kingdom business by producing role-models in others by following God. This ministry is usually a monthly meeting with a covered dish-style dinner.

Visitation

Every other Tuesday night, deacons go out into the neighborhood and visit and minister to shut-ins, the lost, parents of children attending church and AWANA, and everyone who has a dire need of Christ’s love, salvation or healing. Anyone feeling led to spread the Gospel is welcome. Please pray for those who have laid aside their time to the Lord that He will work mighty works for through them for His kingdom.

First Place

First Place is a Christ-centered women’s health and fitness support ministry that meets on Monday evenings. Basically they meet and have Bible study, discussions, fellowship and offer personal spiritual encouragement.

Food Pantry

One Accord maintains a food pantry for anyone in need of food.
